Juvenile Law
Dayton, Ohio Juvenile Law Attorney
Daniel E. Brinkman
Society recognizes that children, and especially juveniles, need to have special protections under the law. Society also recognizes that in matters concerning criminal behavior, juveniles need to be treated differently than adult offenders.
In my law firm practice, I represent parents and juveniles in a variety of matters including criminal offenses such as theft, traffic violations, and OVI charges, and also in hearings regarding custody, the termination of parental rights, and regarding sexual abuse at school or in the home.
Springfield Juvenile Criminal Defense Lawyer
It is an easy thing for kids, especially teenagers, to stray off into dangerous behaviors and to make reckless decisions. My job, whenever possible, is to try and keep those youthful mistakes from seriously affecting their future adult lives.
I help minimize the damages and work to get these kids back on track by defending them against a variety of felony and misdemeanor charges including theft, DUI / OVI, drug possession, burglary, auto theft, and more.
Juvenile Rights
Juvenile law is also concerned with protecting minors & youths from abusive situations and with making sure that their best interests are not trampled on by adults. In addition to the criminal defense work I do, I represent juveniles themselves in matters involving abuse in the home, sexual abuse by teachers, custody considerations, terminations of parental rights, and in hearings with the Children's Services Board.
If you are a juvenile stuck in an abusive situation or your child has found themselves in trouble with the law, contact me, Daniel E. Brinkman, for an experienced Dayton juvenile law attorney who can help.
